Nepal which is the best trekking destination in the world is regarded as a paradise for the trekkers. It’s tall standing mountains, scenic view and diversified culture and geography make the trekking routes best in the world. Trekking in Nepal is the treasured lifetime experience- passing rouged terrains, remote villages, diversified natural resources, panoramic Mountain View along with diversified culture.
Trekking in any part of Nepal requires a permit. As every trekking routes are protected under either according to Conservation Areas Act or National Parks Act. Every trekker has to fill the details of the trekking route along with some fees to get access to these trekking routes. If you plan to visit two destinations you need two permits and so on.
 Following are the permit fees structure for major trekking routes of Nepal.

        Note:
  1. Entrance fee not required for children under 10 years of age.
  2. Trekkers are required to obtain individual Entry Permits for visiting ACA, GCA, and MCA.
  3. Two passport size photographs are required while applying for each Entry Permit.
       Terms and Conditions:
  • This Entry Permit is valid for single entry only and is non-refundable, non-transferable. The permit holder can enter the designated places within the Conservation Area.
  • A person entering the Conservation Area shall abide by the National Park and Wildlife Conservation Act, 2029 B.S. (1973) and the Regulations made under this Act.
  • This Entry Permit must be carried during the entire trip and should be shown if concerned personnel of the Conservation Area wants to check it.


Restricted Areas Trekking Open for Group Trekkers


Following are the restricted areas open for group trekkers, a permit is available to only group trekkers. Individual trekkers are will not be issued trekking permit. 
 
   Note:
  1. To get a group trekking permit an application form with other relevant documents should be submitted through any registered trekking agency of Nepal.
  2. Trekking fee can be paid in Nepalese currency: Notwithstanding anything written in above, the Indian citizen can pay in Nepalese currency equivalent to US Dollars.

Tsum Valley Trek

From September to November, per person US$ 35 for first 8 days and from December to August per person US$ 25 for first 8 days or equivalent convertible foreign currency.
